Description
Arches & Armours are designed to do more. Use them as tunnels, bridges, ramps, rockers, stepping pieces or part of a bigger build… then slot them neatly together when playtime is done.
They’re also cleverly designed to work as a second base for the Whatsie Play Couch, fitting snugly together to create a full couch setup without wasting space on pieces that only do one job.
Made with supportive foam and the same premium, removable covers as the rest of the Whatsie range, they’re built for climbing, creating and everyday play.
Use them on their own or pair them with your Whatsie for even more ways to play.
The Arches and Armours set consists of four individual pieces:
- Two arches which can be zipped together. Each arch piece measures 84 cm long / 84 cm wide / 12.5 cm deep.
- Two armours complete with a handle to fit perfectly inside the arch piece.
Materials
Made for real family life, with quality materials chosen for comfort, durability and everyday play.
Foam: CertiPUR-US foam, independently tested and made without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, certain flame retardants, mercury, lead and other heavy metals, with low VOC emissions. Different densities selected for each piece: 33D bases, 30D trapeziums and 25D armrests and Spot Cushions.
Fabrics: OEKO-TEX® fabrics, tested for harmful substances.
Covers: Removable and machine washable, with double-stitched and overlocked seams for added durability.
Zippers: Quality YKK® zippers with covered zip areas to help protect little hands and floors.

Corduroy: Soft, durable, and full of texture. Our corduroy covers add warmth and timeless style to your play space. This beautiful textured fabric is strong yet cosy, machine washable, and made to handle everyday play.
Luxe: Covers that are durable, spill-resistant, and resemble the look and feel of a luxury fabric couch. The Whatsie luxe covers are the perfect choice for families looking for a higher-end look for their play space.
Our Fabrics
Corduroy:
Our plush 260gsm wide-wale corduroy is made from 100% polyester, with a beautifully soft, substantial feel and rich texture. Cosy enough for lounging, durable enough for everyday play, and designed to look right at home in your living space.
Original Microsuede:
Our signature 240gsm microsuede is made from 100% polyester with an incredibly soft, velvety finish. Smooth, durable and easy to care for, its tightly woven closed-loop construction also makes it a great choice for busy family homes and pets.

Colours may vary slightly between screens, lighting and production batches. Microsuede has a directional pile, giving it a beautiful tonal effect that can appear lighter or darker depending on how the fabric is brushed.

Shipping and delivery
We ship daily from our Australian warehouses in Prestons, NSW and Broadmeadows, VIC. In-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days.
Standard delivery is usually 2–6 business days for most locations and 5–10 business days for WA and NT. Need it sooner? Express delivery within Australia is 1–3 business days and costs $60.
Australian standard shipping is $40 for larger items and $20 for smaller items. New Zealand shipping is $60, and fabric samples ship free.
